iPad Watercolor Brushes: iPad Lettering’s Advanced Set

Karin, better known as @iPadLettering on Instagram, has a website full of goodies (some free and some available for purchase).

You can get the IPL Advanced watercolor set here for the price of $24. In this set, you’ll get 20 Procreate brushes and 1 canvas template with the watercolor texture already built in. You can watch an in-depth video tutorial of her using these brushes here. These brushes definitely have a bit of a learning curve to them but they are SO fun to play with. She teaches you how to add in washes of color and blend it together so you can get that really blended together look as if you were really using watercolors on paper! That’s why I wrote “Splish Splash” because it makes it so much fun to add in any splash of color to a piece. Another one of my favorite brushes and techniques that she teaches is the watercolor edge brush and going through and darkening the edges of your lettering. It adds SUCH a realistic look and while it is time consuming, it is so worth it because the difference it makes is astronomical.
