Create With Craftey: “Mermaid Hair, Don’t Care” Baseball Cap

It’s time for July’s FREE hand-lettered SVG file by yours truly that you download over at Craftey. If you missed my last post, Craftey has sponsored a custom hand-lettered SVG file every month through the end of the year. And that means that every month, I get to share a super cute DIY project with you guys! Eeeeek. I still can’t believe it. I have decided to name this monthly series “Create With Craftey” and I hope you guys will love following along and snagging a freebie the next few months. If you’re new here and you’d like to see the other posts I’ve done with Craftey in the past, just click here to scroll through my Create With Craftey blog category! Summertime is in full swing and this means it is the best time for baseball caps. Am I right or am I right? It’s hot and it’s humid and nobody wants to deal with their hair. Plus, I don’t know about you but my scalp burns so easily and a hat is an easy fix for that when I am going to be outside for a while. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you a little about what inspired this month’s SVG file and project.

Whether your summer consists of being at the beach, laying by a pool, or just not wanting to deal with your hair when you’re running errands (guilty)- this project is for you! Katie, the community manager over at Craftey, is going to take you through step-by-step on how to create this yourself at home!

Remember that this cute baseball cap is just one idea on how to use this file. We know you guys are going to create amazing things with it. Head over to Craftey’s post to download this file and learn how to make this yourself. Don’t forget to tag Craftey and myself on social media if you use this file because we’d love to see what you create. If you aren’t following them already, you can find Craftey on their FacebookInstagram and Pinterest.

Until next time, stay bossy y’all!

Celebrating Spring with Craftey: A Free Hand-lettered SVG File

Exciting news: Craftey has reached out and sponsored another custom hand-lettered piece to give to their followers FOR FREE! If you missed my last partnership with them, let me fill you in: Craftey is an online community for vinyl crafters. Whether you’re searching for inspiration or tips and tricks, you can find it all in their community.

When Ms. Katie (the Community Manager over at Craftey) reached out about doing a post this month, she brought up doing something spring-y! I scrolled through Pinterest and looked at different ideas to get my creative juices flowing. When I think of April and spring, I think of flowers and this quote was PERFECT. I thought this custom hand-lettered quote would be so cute on just about anything. I thought it would look super cute on a flower pot or a vase showcasing some spring flowers. But check it out above! Putting the design on a canvas is such a great idea and makes for a fun home decor project. You can easily make a vinyl stencil from an SVG design and you can find out more on their blog post. What a great reminder that when we are planting seeds, we’ll grow blessings. I think this quote can be used in SO many different situations and I hope that you guys really love having it around your home.

You can grab the design you see above in SVG form FOR FREE from their post here so that you can use it yourself to put on whatever your heart desires.

Thank you again Craftey for sponsoring this post and for partnering together to share something so great with our followers! Go check out their InstagramFacebook, or Pinterest (or all three) and start building the community y’all. It starts with YOU.

Till next time, stay bossy y’all.

Craftey: A Community for Vinyl Crafters + a FREE hand-lettered SVG file

I am so excited that Craftey has reached out and sponsored a custom hand-lettered piece to give to their followers FOR FREE! Craftey is a brand-new online community and is a place you can go to fulfill your vinyl crafting obsession. If you’re wondering about supplies, maybe you’re needing some inspiration or if you just need friendship- you can find all of that in the Craftey community.

Before there was ever Bossy Brushstrokes, there was a girl with a vinyl cutting machine. I got it years ago and have used it on so many projects from decorating cups, making homemade gifts, sprucing up my old t-shirts, and (my personal favorite) decorating my college graduation cap! When the very sweet Ms. Katie (the community manager over at Craftey) reached out to me about sponsoring a post, I got so excited because I have been waiting to combine my new love for lettering with my old love of crafting with vinyl.

You can grab the design you see above in SVG form FOR FREE from their post here so that you can use it yourself to put on whatever your heart desires. Katie put it on a canvas pouch as you can see above and it is absolutely AMAZING! I am so excited to see what else you guys can come up with.

Thank you again Craftey for sponsoring this post and for partnering together to share something so great with our followers! Go check out their Instagram, Facebook, or Pinterest (or all three) and start building the community y’all. It starts with YOU joining in on the fun!!

Till next time. Stay bossy.
