Create with Craftey: Using HTV to Create the Perfect DIY Instagram Swimsuit

We’re wrapping up the first week of July and what better way than to show you how to create the perfect DIY Instagram swimsuit?! This month’s Create with Craftey post is inspired by the first thing I think of when I think of summer (after being thankful for the warmth)… THE BEACH! Growing up, my parents & I’s yearly summer tradition was a two-week beach trip to Garden City, South Carolina. Now that I live in Kansas, I’m probably as far from a beach as I’ll ever be. But, we all still need the perfect Instagram swimsuit, right? So, let’s use HTV to create the perfect Instagram swimsuit! Whether you’re going to the beach, the lake, or just laying out in the backyard- you can download this month’s FREE hand-lettered SVG file and learn how to create a unique swimsuit yourself using heat transfer vinyl over on Craftey‘s website.

I always love seeing bloggers show off their cute one-piece swimsuits (#instagrammable), but we all know that sometimes affordable swimsuits are hard to find! Or you find a cute one and then wonder who decided to put some weird phrase on there… Insert the perfect DIY Instagram swimsuit! Haha. That’s why I love this month’s project so much. I know I say that every month, but Y’ALL I CAN’T HELP IT. You can pick up a plain one-piece (or give a new life to that old one sitting in your drawer) and make it unique! Your options are endless with vinyl crafting. If you’re needing HTV, check out Craftey’s shop to get the exact vinyl they used in this month’s project.

I can’t wait to see what you create using July’s FREE hand-lettered SVG file. Don’t forget to share your project on social media and tag both Craftey and myself on social media! If you aren’t following them already, you can find Craftey on their FacebookInstagram and Pinterest.

Until next time, stay bossy y’all!
